I think I should really quit calling these weekly updates since I am not nearly regular enough with them….
Maybe we can call them “whenever-Julia-feels-like-it updates”.
I know this was supposed to go up a couple of days (weeks?) ago and I also know that the last Tuesday of the month should have been my June Book Review. (It isn’t even June anymore.) But….
I didn’t read any more of the books on my reading list last month.
Blasphemy, I know. But in my defense……I got nothing. Sorry.
So instead of the preordained book review, I thought I’d give you just a plain, boring update on my life. You’re welcome; I know I’m a very interesting person.
Where to start?
The baby bunnies have now been completely weaned and separated by sex. They’re getting really big too! I’ll put some pictures in below.
Effeminate Earth has officially been on sale for a month (Buy Now!) and I have around three book signings coming up. Which is super cool. What’s even cooler is one of the signings, being hosted by our local Rabobank (thanks, Corey!), we accidentally set on a date that the bank isn’t open on and instead of making us pick another date, they just decided to open the bank especially for me.
Also, I joined a 4-H group. I’m volunteering to be a Junior Counselor at the camp they’re putting on this year and my rabbits are going to be my project.
Oh! And I’m taking the ACT’s soon. I’m actually kind of nervous. I’ve been studying like crazy for it. In order to complete my college application, I have to either have the ACT scores or SAT scores and I’m afraid that I’m gonna, like, completely forget anything I’ve ever learned (including how to hold a pencil) and just sit there with a horror-stricken look on my face. This seems like a realistic fear, right? I’m not crazy….
Well…maybe a little…
Okay, okay, maybe a lot.
I think that’s pretty much it. I will be posting again today though to try to make up for my frequent, long absences. I did a research report on the science of happiness and thought it was really interesting, so I’ll be posting that.
Thanks for Reading!
